Integrative Care
Healing Beyond the Mind: Aligning the Gut, Body, and Spirit.
Integrative Ketamine Therapy & Holistic Psychotherapy
At Awaken Ketamine Healing Studio, Robin McKinley, FNP-C, PMHNP, offers medically supervised ketamine therapy combined with psychotherapy and holistic integration.
Robin’s approach is unique and designed for those seeking more than symptom suppression. She supports meaningful, lasting change by addressing the mind, the body, and the deeper emotional and spiritual patterns that shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us.
Ketamine creates a window of neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to reorganize and form new connections. Integrative therapy helps you use that window intentionally, translating insight into real-life transformation.
To experience meaningful, lasting change, you don’t need to become someone new; you simply need the right conditions to access what’s already within you.

Therapeutic Approaches for Mindset Support
Each experience is supported through a blend of evidence-based and mind-body modalities:
A Path to Meaningful Well-Being.
Gut Health & Microbiome Wellness
Mental health is not just in the mind; it lives in the body.
The gut, often referred to as the “second brain,” plays a significant role in mood, stress response, and overall mental health. The majority of serotonin is produced in the gastrointestinal system, highlighting the deep connection between gut health and emotional well-being.
Support may include personalized guidance on nutrition and sleep, and targeted nutraceuticals, which are natural compounds that serve as building blocks for key neurotransmitters like serotonin and GABA. By strengthening this biological foundation, the mind becomes more adaptable and capable of change.
Energy & Somatic Integration
Healing also involves working with the body’s energetic and sensory systems. Practices such as chakra-focused work, energy clearing, and sound-based therapies are offered to support regulation and alignment.
Energy work can be understood as the intentional support of the body’s natural rhythms and subtle patterns. From a scientific perspective, the body is composed of atoms and molecules that carry measurable frequencies. Within a clinical setting, these practices are used to gently influence biological processes, particularly nervous system regulation.
As the body becomes more grounded and the mind quiets, clients often find it easier to access their internal landscape and remain open during the ketamine experience. This creates a bridge between physical regulation, emotional processing, and a deeper sense of connection within oneself.
