Robin McKinley

FNP-C, PMHNP (MSN)

Founder & Integrative Nurse Practitioner

Robin is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who uniquely bridges modern medicine with consciousness-based healing. Her curiosity about consciousness began with discovering the power of energy work, which led her to develop a daily meditation practice and explore hypnosis, deepening her understanding of the root causes of human suffering.

This awareness led her to open her practice in May 2022, creating a space for transformation where Eastern and Western healing philosophies coexist, integrating mindset guidance, consciousness exploration, energy work, guided meditation, and hypnosis with ketamine therapy.

Today, Awaken Ketamine Healing Studio focuses on ketamine therapy with preparation and integration support for individuals experiencing treatment-resistant depression, chronic anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and other complex mental health challenges. Her approach blends medical oversight with her unique integration model, helping clients see themselves more fully, understand the unity of mind, body, and spirit, and cultivate a return to wholeness, drawing from the work of Carl Jung and Dr. David R. Hawkins.

Academic & Clinical Foundations

Robin earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2003. She spent nine years at Lawrence General Hospital, beginning in medical-surgical nursing and later working five years in the Emergency Center.

In 2012, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing at UMass Lowell, going on to practice as a primary care provider at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center and New England Community Medical Services.

Robin completed a year-long fellowship in Integrative Psychiatry at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute, a certificate in ketamine-assisted therapy at Resilience Behavioral Health Solutions, and a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
